German sports rider Maxime Mijnlieff uses HorseDay to ensure the best training and care for her horses.

Maxime Mijnlieff, a name synonymous with success in the German youth equestrian scene, has been an avid user of the HorseDay app for the past two years, ensuring top-notch training and care for her horses. Now 22, the former youth squad rider lives in Amsterdam with her stallion, Kardináli frá Kjartansstöðum, while pursuing a degree in International Business. Although her competitive appearances have become less frequent since clinching the youth championship title in the tölt class last year, Maxime's passion and ambition remain as strong as ever.

“I set high standards for my training and want my horses to stay motivated and healthy. The HorseDay app plays a crucial role in this, allowing me to analyze detailed data from my training sessions and make informed decisions to enhance my horses' well-being and the efficiency of our training,” says Maxime.

Maxime has integrated HorseDay seamlessly into her daily routine at the stables, where she records every ride and takes advantage of HorseDay’s comprehensive training analysis and detailed insights into the distribution of the five gaits during each training session, as well as over the past week or month.

“I get a precise overview of how often I went trail riding, trained in the arena, or lunged my horses. This helps me maintain a balanced training regimen, keeping my horses motivated. The gait analysis has been particularly beneficial, helping me to train all gaits more evenly, which has notably improved my horses' tölt. For instance, the app’s analysis encouraged me to focus more on cantering, which has strengthened my horses' hindquarters and improved their ability to carry themselves in the slow tempo tölt. Reflecting on my training through HorseDay not only aids in preparation for tölt or four-gait tests but also keeps me motivated and reassures me that I am training my horses fairly.”

Maxime also highlights the app’s utility beyond training, as it allows her to efficiently manage all aspects of horse care, from shoeing and vaccinations to worming and feeding, directly from her smartphone.

“For me, HorseDay is like a digital diary that I always have with me. I can easily monitor and manage all my horse-related activities in just a few seconds. Horses deserve the same level of care and attention that we give to ourselves, and HorseDay helps me ensure that.”
